Community Acupuncture Clinic

Practical, Effective Wellness: Drop-In Group Acupuncture at Harrisville VCC

We are pleased to announce a new Drop-In Group Acupuncture Clinic at the Harrisville Village Community Center, led by James Lovinsky, DACM, and Linnéa Lovinsky, DAOM.

By utilizing the center’s large, open community room, we provide high-quality acupuncture care in a restful, shared environment. There is no need for an appointment, simply drop in during our clinic hours to receive treatment.

Clinic Hours

  • Hours: Saturday, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

  • Last Call: To ensure everyone has adequate time for their session, the last treatment begins at 11:30 AM.

What to Expect

In a Group Acupuncture setting, patients receive treatment in a quiet, restful common area. The Community Center is large enough for us to spread out in a beautiful, peaceful healing space. We will be serving a seasonal herbal tea and quiet conversation is welcome by the tea area.

Upon arrival, you will be checked in and can settle into a comfortable recliner or folding chair. Your practitioner will conduct a brief consultation at your side before placing needles, primarily on the arms, legs, and head. Since this is a drop-in clinic, patients are treated in the order they arrive.

How to Prepare

  • Attire: Because treatments take place in a shared room, please wear loose-fitting clothing that can easily be rolled up to the elbows and knees (such as t-shirts, joggers, or loose trousers). There are no private changing areas available.

  • First Visit: Please allow an extra 10 minutes during your first visit to complete your health history paperwork.

  • Optional: Some patients like to bring their own small pillow, light blanket, or noise-canceling headphones

Pricing & Membership

  • Initial Visit: $65 (Includes intake and treatment)

  • Follow-up Visits: $45 per session

  • Membership options will be available once regular clinic hours are established.

Location: Harrisville VCC, 23 Church St.
