Chant Church with Gwir and Abhai Raj Llewellyn

Singing in community has long been a practice in faith communities of all kinds.  Science has shown that singing literally and figuratively lifts us up, builds immunity and community.

Drawing primarily from the Vedic tradition of Kirtan, we will explore sounds from many traditions starting from bij sounds (single syllables) to mantras to shabads, building complexity and fluency as we go.

Join us in exploring your voice in community with others.

Gwir and Abhai Raj Llewellyn are Sat Purkh. Each comes from their own 25-year meditation practice and discipline; their paths merged in 2012 and they've been singing together ever since. Their practice incorporates many traditions, but is focused on the play of Sound and Silence. They've published 12 albums of sacred music and live with their menagerie of animals in Southern New Hampshire.
